Life before and life after. In 2024, Ivanhowe's first progeny will be five years old. This first crop undoubtedly includes quality individuals such as the black-type filly Just A Princess, a good winner over hurdles at Compiègne as a three-year-old and multiple Listed-placed at Auteuil in 2023 (notably 3rd in the Prix de Marsan). There is also Joue Le Jeu, who has collected several places at Auteuil during recent months. But 2024 will above all be synonymous with life afterwards for Ivanhowe, as he will see the arrival on the circuit of his first crop conceived at Cercy. He has covered nearly 370 mares since 2020 in the Nièvre region, and this new wave could well become a runaway success. An international champion with prestigious titles, winner of four Group 1 contests in Europe and Australia, Ivanhowe capitalises upon German genetics chiselled like precious metals. His sire is the top stallion Soldier Hollow, while his dam was placed in the German Oaks and has also produced a Group 1 winner over hurdles in Britain. The goldsmith Ivanhowe is set to unveil his new jewellery collection in 2024. We can't wait.
